Philosophy of an article as a medium

No one-dimensional static article

  • I find it’s a dated belief that information should be static like in a book. It is such a shame books are still creating a wall between information needs and information supply.
  • But authors have to make a living? Receive compensation for the time spent writing and researching? My answer to that is: if authors are driven by monetary compensation, is maximum information transmission still their primary target? Shouldn’t it be to share their unique perspectives and findings INDEPENDENT of the audience’s perception?

Living information

  • Information must live. Information should be updated or decayed. Either way it should be timestamped. The world changes. The author’s opinion can change.

Bite sized pieces

  • I write in bullet points. Information should not be locked up in long walls of text. One should be able cherry pick the relevant pieces of information which one needs.

Adding dimensions

  • People say not all things are black and white. That implicitly means that there are one or more dimensions that we are missing. This blogs hopes to explore those exact dimensions, creating more nuanced perspectives.
